You awaken in your ravaged hamlet, your farm destroyed and your godparents slain, and uncover a parchment revealing their murder was ordered by an unknown enemy. Vengeance drives you to Bjarnarhaven, where you face Hrungnir, the Hill Giant Lord, and seize the Enchanted Amulet of Kings, which reveals your past and transports you to Crossroads. There, the Jarl aids you as you journey to the Castle of the Winds, where your grandfather's spirit guides you into its dungeons to reclaim your birthright. Battling through monsters, a desecrated crypt, and a necromancer's lair, you defeat the leaders of the Wolf-Men and Bear-Men, the four Jotun kings, a Demon Lord, and finally Surtur, ascending to the throne, your quest for justice and redemption fulfilled.
